Bedroom Tour

After our move in late February(can you believe we've been living here six weeks already?!), I've had a hard time decorating our bedroom. In our last apartment we had a big bedroom. I thought it was the perfect size, V thought it was too big. The problem with the room was that there wasn't much space to put dressers and closets. We had three(!) doors leading into the doors, which automatically means alot of wall space is gone. But anyhow, we managed to get our big bed, two night stands, two dressers and a two door wardrobe stuffed in there, plus three doors and a window. Don't forget our the 42" TV! Pretty great, huh?

The main reason we wanted to move was so we could get our own office. In our old apartment we had our computer setups in the middle of the living room - not convenient. Or pretty. Our new apartment is two square meters smaller than our old apartment, which means our bedroom wouldn't be as big. I guess you kinda can say that our new bedroom + office = our old bedroom. Kinda

Before we moved in I hontestly thought we would for sure get both our night stands into the room, but no. Not a chance. I don't really like our bed pushed into the wall, but it's the only way this bedroom works. We had to choose between a dresser or a nightstand, and that made it rather easy. We need storage for our clothes! We had to put the other dresser into our Bathroom.

Without further ado; here's some pictures from our new bedroom!

The door leading into our bedroom. To the right is the entrance and our office.

Our night stand table, and my own pictures hanging above the bed. Some cute candles and a table lamp is all you need for a perfect night stand! I'm on the look out for a new lamp base, but haven't fund the right one just yet. And yes, I need this alarm during the night so I don't have to turn on my phone to check what time it is...

I made these pillows while we were in Utah during Christmas. I think they go really well with my pictures.

Our dresser! a 5 drawer dresser from Jysk.

I love, love, love this old mirror that we got from a friend!

Close up of my brass candle sticks. How cute is this cup? It's a couple years old from H&M. After the candle that was originally in it burned down, I just replaced it with a tea light.

That cute elephant is for money savings, and goes really well with our flower pot.
