Reupholstering our dining room chairs

We bought our dining room table and chairs in May with the intetntion to paint and reupholster all of the chairs. I asked my mom and dad to help me out, because I wasn't 100 % sure how to do it, and we don't have to right tools do it either.

My mom and dad came over on Tuesday this week, and we got to work. First we went down to Lillestrøm Systue to pick out the fabric and foam rubber. We had decieded that we wanted blue fabric, and I went with this dark blue one. When we got back to our apartment we had to cut out foam rubber and fabric to match the chairs. We have seven chairs, and only two are exactly the same. Some of them had old covers that we had to remove, some didn't have anything.

Four hours down to road we had finished all of the chairs, and it looked so much better! I love the fabric and I think it looks great with everything else we have in our apartment. Now I just want some blue curtains to match the chairs. Here's some pictures from the process:

Things are happening!

Starting to look good!

Voila! We're done with the first one, only six more to go!

Four of the chairs are done!

One big happy family! Doesn't it look so good?

Monday morning

Life is crazy these days. We're both so busy with school, and then comes work, family and all the other stuff too. It's all good though, we're both doing something we really like and love! This thursday I have my second presentation this fall, and I'm ready! I love giving presentations at school. Don't know why, just do.

Last week I had major problems with my computer, and had no other choice than to get a new 2T hard drive. Luckily we got to save all my documents and pictures before the old hard drive said goodbye. Let me tell you, I was so nerous I was gonna loose everything (again..)!

It's no secret I love flowers, and I've had these pictures of some beautiful red roses just sitting in an album waiting to be published on my blog. The pictures are from earlier this summer, but roses are just as beautiful during the fall as the summer.

Happy monday!
