I absolutely love this vase! Perfect for my tulips! It's from Plantasjen, a norwegian flower and plant store. White tulips are a perfect flower for our dining table. The table is old and well used, and it's far from perfect. We're on the lookout for a new table, but we don't have a lot of money to spend on a new one. We'll just have to keep looking!

Tulips & Gold
Even though I am one of the biggest christmas lovers, it felt really great to put away our christmas decorations, and go shopping for some new and fresh winter decorations!
Tulip season is here and I love them! They're beautiful and a great piece of decoration. The candle sticks are from a norwegian store called Skeidar, and the beautiful light holder is fra Åhlens. The pictures up on the wall are my own. I dedided to print them and use them as a part of our living room decorations!

Happy New Year!
I never got a chance to wish you merry christmas, so a belated merry christmas and a happy new year! We had such a good time spending christmas eve and christmas day at my parents place. Then every December 26th since I was a little girl, my moms family meets for a christmas family party. My mom has 7 siblings, and my grandmother has 16 grandkids so you can only imagine all the noise we make. Either way, we always have a lot of fun!
Happy new year! Hope 2014 was great and 2015 will be even better!
My Christmas Angel
My mom is such a handy and inventive woman. Ever since I can remember she has loved to make stuff. Especially knitting and crocheting.
She made me the angel you can see down below. I do think I can use it all year around, but I decided to make it a part of my christmas decorations. Now every year when we put up our christmas decorations I will think of my mom when we get to this angel, and I hope that someday I will be as inventive as she's always been!

Decorating For Christmas Time
I am one of the biggest christmas lovers ever. I absolutely love December and all that's to it. We decided to put up our christmas decorations early this year. The tradition here in Norway is that you put up your christmas decorations on December 22nd or 23rd, and it stays up until 5th or 6th of January.
Last year, in 2013, I put ours up November 30th. You can only imagine all the surprised looks I got from the people visiting us the next month. This year, 2014, I put they up 7th of December.
Our christmas decorations are a good mix of mine, his and everything we brought from our parents place when we moved out. I can't wait until we got our own house and I can go out shopping for christmas decorations. I love the warm and cozy feeling christmas brings!

Gold, White & Green
Can you spot my small christmas trees with snow on them? I absolutely love them! They're from a store called Søstrene Grene, and they were about $2 each. It might be a little early putting up christmas decorations, but these I find fine!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
The only thing missing in Copenhagen was snow. Hopefully we'll have snow in both Norway and Denmark in a month. doesn't this look beautiful though, even without the snw? I can't imagine how breathtaking it would have been with snow.

New In: Couch
As I already told you, we decided it was time to make some changes around here. The first one was to get a new table. The second one was to get a new couch! And boy did we find it. This one is also bought used, but you can't tell. It's super light weight, and you can split it into four pieces.
I am finding this dark grey color a bit hard to match my interior. I tend to think everything looks too bold or too "harsh". The lighter beige color we had on our old couch was a lot easier to match! I'm sure I will get the hang of it, but it will take me some time.
