Pink Peonies

One of my favorite flower sduring summer is defenitely peonies! Have you seen anything more beautiful!? I love the subtle pink color, and they go great with our gray couch. I love to combine pink and gold/brass, I think it's one of the most gorgeous combos you can have in a home. My boyfriend is not a big fan of pink though, so I only have small pieces of pink here and there.

Love Me Some Scrabble

One of my favorite games is scrabble. I love using my mind when playing games. V is not such a big fan of it, but if I ask nicely he'll say yes to playing a round with me.

Another reason I love having scrabble is because it's great to use the letters for pictures! You can spell anything with them! A couple of weeks ago we celebrated being together for 2,5 years and I just had to take some cheesy, loving pictures. I love how they turned out!

My Grandmas Old Night Stand

I love my grandmas old night stand. Her old night stand is my favorite piece of furniture in our apartment. I love the fact that her parents gave it to her, and she gave it to me.

This piece was originally turwuoise/blue, but my dad painted it for me. My grandma also told me that there used to ge a marble counter top on it, but it broke off way before she gave it to me. I remember my grandma using this as a night stand since I was a little girl. Even though I don't use it as a night stand, I think it's just as beautiful in our kitchen. It's where I put beautiful flowers, or my favorite pieces of interior. I love this little corner.

Our Living Room

I usually post pictures of our interior, not a whole room or our furniture, so I thought it would be nice to show you how our full living room looks! I ove this decoration fire place that we bought as Rusta. Gives us that cozy feeling of having a fire place, even though we don't! And I also love the pillows we have in our sofa now. I love blue, gives me a calm and peacefull state of mind.

Friyay

Another favorite flower of mine is carnations. They are cheap, they last at least two weeks and they look really great!I love placing carnations in my äng vase that I got for my birthday back in March. I feel like the flowers and vase complement each other and the result is stunning! Just check out these pictures.

It's All In The Details

Our bedroom is hard to decorate. It's a big room with a lot of floor room, but that's it. I do wish we could fit my pc in there, but there's no space. I have been trying to figure out how to style these two drawers. I have been going back and forth between showing off my jewelry but I always end up putting this jar back in the drawer. I want to keep it simple but beautiful.

Speaking of beautiful! Did you notice our beautiful brass mirror? A friend of V inherited it from a family member but he didn't want it. I asked if I could have it and he said yes. I absolutely love it, and it gives our bedroom that special and beautiful touch.

Kitchen Area

Not sure if I've told you this before, but our kitchen/dining area is the one of the parts about our apartment that I don't like. Wish we had a different table and different chairs! We bought this set used for 400 NOK/50 $ when we first moved into the apartment in October 2013. The surface of the table doesn't look good at all! Around christmas time in 2013 I was trying to do my own acrylic nails with this kit I bought on ebay. I ended up smudging some of the acrylic fill on the table. So now we have three very beautiful spots on our table, and we can't get them off. 

I am on the lookout for a new kitchen table and chairs, but it'll probably just stay a dream for another couple of months. Student + big time interior fan = bad match. Poor wallet! Anyway, we'll just have to suck it up, and  be happy we at least have a kitchen table! After all, not everyone does. Somebody doesn't even have roof over their head, so I'm grateful for everything we have in our lives.

Pink Beauty

I am in love with this top photo. The roses from last week are still so beautiful, and I love how they turned out in this picture. Pink beauty! I know this marble tray has been in pretty much every picture I have posted the last couple of months. Sorry about that! I just find it so easy to use in my interior and it's such a good base for my living room table. You can put almost anything on it, and it turns out beautiful!

The Beautiful "Äng" From Klong

I got the best birthday present from my boyfriend, this beautiful vase called "Äng" from Klong. It was my number #1 wish and he made it come true! It's an expensive vase but truely worth it. I almost gives me a feeling of "majestic" like it's the most important piece on the room.

It's beautiful with any kind of fresh flowers in it, and it you don't have fresh flowers it's even beautiful without anything in it!

Pink & Blue Livingroom

I am loving this color combo! Pink and gold can never go wrong. Never. This weekend we're celebrating both mine and Vs birthday, and we're having a lot of family coming over tomorrow. I decided to buy some roses with happy colors! I love fresh flowers with happy colors!

I have been adding some more blue to our living room the last couple of months. I find it pieceful and gorgeous, and I think blue is such a elegant color!
